Shipping Day
The last few days have been a bit frazzled, but we finally shipped our tapes out to TIFF for the Festival. Although it’s a long ways away, they need things in advance because of the sheer number of films and to ensure quality.
I had some setbacks this weekend while finishing it off because a few of the HDCAM decks at NYU (where we are using the post-production facilities) refused to act properly. The great people that work there are amazing so we got it off finally!
It’s a strange feeling when the thing you’ve worked on for month and months is in the form of a tangible tape.
Bon Voyage tapes, next time I’ll see you will be in Toronto.
